Saint Paul Winter Carnival
For the 139th annual event, our team worked closely with media to engage coverage blanketing Twin Cities and Minnesota media, as well as national outlets including The Weather Channel. A hallmark of the Winter Carnival campaign every year is the first morning of the Carnival, known to all involved as “Media Morning.” In 2025, our team coordinated live coverage from five local TV stations and more than 50 people participating in the below zero weather. Through numerous press releases, personalized pitches and phone calls with local media, we secured 1,000+ publicity hits across dozens of outlets. The estimated impressions topped 4.1 billion.
This year’s Carnival also offered the chance to leverage our other client relationships as we helped to secure the Celebrity Grand Marshal of the King Boreas Grande Day Parade. In support of the theatrical release of DOG MAN, Universal Pictures sent the titular character to greet adoring fans during the annual parade.
Earlier this year, the Saint Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation honored Nemer Fieger with the Sal & Fransesca Lobaido Volunteer Service Award noting Nemer Fieger “has been a cornerstone of the Saint Paul Winter Carnival’s media relations, playing a pivotal role in the festival’s ongoing success.” A major past achievement during our 18-year partnership included the 2018 Saint Paul Winter Carnival that coincided with Super Bowl LII and featured a multi-million-dollar ice palace which garnered world-wide attention.
