Four advance screenings served as the foundation of the campaign. Press, influencers and general moviegoers – invited by more than 40 regional partners – were excited to see the movie before anyone else. Guests at the Minneapolis screening particularly loved seeing the 50+ members of the North Star Santas dressed in their most festive attire!
With an activations budget provided for Minneapolis, we arranged for participation in the Mall of America’s Festival of Trees. This 7-week event offered an extended promotional window and attracted nearly 50,000 attendees. Additional budget was used to engage Gray Fox Coffee to create a custom latte, Kowalski’s Markets for a grocery bag giveaway and 10 days of trailer play at the Mall of America.
