JULI HEATH: Yoga that Stress Away
Life is stressful, work is stressful. Everyone knows that taking good care of yourself allows you to be a better employee and human. We all have our own way of coping with the ups and downs of daily life and for our Broadcast Director Juli Heath, that reset is yoga and giving back.
Juli is a 500-hour certified yoga and meditation instructor and every April, she participates in the four-week virtual Mind Body Solutions (MBS) yoga fundraiser called Kiss My Asana (asana is a yoga pose).
MBS is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) with a mission to transform trauma, loss and disability into hope and potential through yoga. MBS is best known for adapting yoga to people with a variety of disabilities: Veterans, those living with physical and intellectual challenges, the elderly, and others.
Juli has taught free yoga and meditation classes to our team which has been a huge benefit to our collective health and wellbeing!
